What it says it does: Learn about the foods you eat and how they help fuel your body for your favorite activities. Make new discoveries about your favorite foods and get interesting tips on how small changes can make big differences.  The Eat & Move-O-Matic was developed to support Youth Voice: Youth Choice, which encourages young people to develop and maintain healthy, active lifestyles.

What it actually does: Eat & Move-O-Matic lets users compare the calories in their food with the amount of exercise they would need to burn the calories consumed. The app also provides healthier swaps, so users can make healthier upgrades to their meals, as well as pros and cons.  Choose a food item and match it up to different activities. For example, a fried eggroll is 189 calories, the same amount you’d burn by 57 minutes of light biking, 44 minutes of softball, or one hour and one minute on a trampoline.

How useful is the information for target audience?: The information is very useful as users can understand how their food can fuel their body as well as how much exercise it takes to burn the calories in their food.

Ease of use: The app is very easy to use as it was designed for kids. Its straightforward purpose keeps users on track and getting answers to their food and exercise questions.

Who would best benefit from the app?: Developed for kids, Eat & Move-O-Matic is great for adults as well
