Amaretto is a delightful Italian liqueur made from apricot oil, almonds, herbs and burnt sugar that results in a delicious liqueur. Disaronno and Amaretto Di Amore® are excellent brands to try. You can serve with this drink with almond meringue cookies or biscotti for a total Italian experience. The cream or half-and-half makes this extra rich but if you like your coffee black, the cream can easily be omitted.
