The organic meat sector has seen phenomenal growth in the last few years. In the Natural Foods Merchandiser's 24th Annual Market Overview published in June 2005, it was reported that in 2004 sales of organic meat, poultry and seafood were up by 120%, compared to the healthy 14.6% for organic products in general.
