A little about me...

I am 39 years old male originally from England,now living in sunny San Antonio, Texas. 40 or so pounds over weight, quit smoking a year and half ago, wife had our first baby 5 months ago (April 2003) and I put on pounds. I like my beer, but only drink it on Tuesdays (dart league) and sometimes on the weekend if we go out. I have a glass or 2 of wine a day with my dinner. I walk every lunchtime for at least 30 minutes. I want to start walking in the mornings but I like to sleep in. I have tried other diets including the Atkins (which I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks and then put it all back on over a weekend). I have decided to drop the weight and keep it off I need to change my eating habits. I love to eat and lots of it, so I am cutting back and trying to exercise.

BREAKFAST: Mushrooms, onion, tomatoe, ham. Cup bovril.
SNACK: Water. Peach
LUNCH: Cup chicken noodle soup, wheat pita w/cheese and turkey.
SNACK: Mango, water.
DINNER: Salmon and salad sandwich, lite soup.
SNACK: Beer. Dart night
STRESS LEVEL: (0 to 10) 6
EXERCISE: 30 minute fast paced morning walk, 20 minute fast pased afternoon walk.
OVERALL WATER CONSUMPTION: Plenty
HOW AM I FEELING: FAT
COMMENTS: Need to walk in the mornings.

SNACK: OJ Water, orange
LUNCH: Turkey meatball & pasta soup w/spinach. Water
SNACK: Water, apple, stick of cheese
DINNER: Grilled tilapia w/asparagus.
SNACK: Rum and diet coke
STRESS LEVEL: (0 to 10) 4
EXERCISE: 25 minute later morning walk.
OVERALL WATER CONSUMPTION: Plenty
HOW AM I FEELING: FAT
COMMENTS: Plan to go home at lunch and work out.

SNACK: Plum, boiled egg, orange.
DINNER: Grilled steak w/grilling beans and salad

EXERCISE: have to walk some today
OVERALL WATER CONSUMPTION: Plenty
HOW AM I FEELING: FAT
COMMENTS: Got to get my butt outta bed and walk/run in the mornings.

EXERCISE: 25 minute morning walk. 20 minute afternoon walk.

EXERCISE: Going to walk right now.
