Who Said That?

I like cappuccino, actually. But even a bad cup of coffee is better than no coffee at all. - David Lynch, American film director

Famous for his quirky films (Blue Velvet, Eraserhead, Mulholland Drive, among others) and his groundbreaking television series (Twin Peaks) in which coffee was a starring "character," David Lynch has been a director, writer, (Catching the Big Fish: Meditation, Consciousness, and Creativity) and a champion of his life-long devotion to Transcendental Meditation, which he brings to schools across the country via his David Lynch Foundation. The organization provides funds for in-school “Quiet Time” programs utilizing the stress-reducing TM techniques for children and teachers and provides funds for independent research institutions to assess the effects of the program on creativity, intelligence, brain functioning, academic performance, ADHD and other learning disorders, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. On his web site, Lynch puts his love of coffee together with his passion for film, selling David Lynch Signature Cup organic coffee with part of the proceeds funding scholarships at the American Film Institute Center for Advanced Film Studies.
