Valentine's Hot Chocolate

Chef Scott Campbell from New Leaf Café, NYC shares the recipe for his famous Hot Chocolate with us - just in time for Valentine's Day!

This recipe makes 4 servings - simply halve for 2.

Hot Chocolate Ingredients:
4 cups whole milk
6 tablespoons Valrhona cocoa powder
3 tablespoons sugar
9 tablespoons Valrhona chocolate chunks
Pinch of vanilla extract
Marshmallows or whipped cream for garnish

Instructions:
Combine the milk and cocoa powder in a saucepan, bring to a simmer and add sugar. 
Reduce heat to very low and add chocolate chunks, stirring occasionally until melted, for about 3-5 minutes.
Strain the hot chocolate through a strainer. 
Stir in the vanilla extract. 
Serve with marshmallows or whipped cream.
