Spain has given us a lot of interesting and flavorful foods, beverages and even great olive oils and wines, but this? These candy tubes are filled with what seems like grape jelly and they are not licorice. There are five 'tubes' that are so sweet they made my teeth hurt. One package is 26 grams of sugars and 170 calories. The first and second ingredient are corn syrup and sugar, and while it does contain fruit juice concentrate, a brand like Welch's could do much, much better. Not a candy, not a treat, just not very good.

Lowfat Vanilla Yogurt with Choco Balls

In Germany they really take their yogurt seriously, you see more different varieties of yogurt and more different yogurt packaging than practically anywhere else. This lowfat yogurt comes with a separate container full of what they call 'Choco Balls', which are chocolate covered crispy rice. The flavor of the yogurt is good. The Choco Balls which are naturally and artificially flavored are tasty, have a good crunch, but the aroma is a bit too strong and frankly not very food-like. The package is cool - we've seen this before, where you fold over one compartment to mix into the other. Would I buy this? Probably not. One container is 210 calories, 26 grams of sugars and 9 grams of proteins.

These crackers, or Crispz are made from a recipe of garbanzo flour, corn flour and potato starch. They're light and crispy and gluten free. Great crunch! An all natural list of ingredients and it is imported from Greece. About 14 crackers are just 3 grams of fat, 2 grams of sugars and contain 5 grams of protein. My one complaint is that I really didn't taste any roasted red pepper - the flavor is just a little too subtle, but this is a very good cracker.

Lazy T's Gourmet Sauces: BBQ Sauce

As I'm sure you know by now it takes an awful lot for a BBQ sauce to impress me. This one does. First ingredient is tomato puree, second is tomato paste. Open up the jar and you can smell tomatoes and mesquite. Have a taste and you taste tomatoes, a bit of sweet, the crunchiness from the onions and a very flavorful, slightly spicy mix of garlic and smoke. This is one BBQ sauce that I would use at home, but remember, as with all BBQ sauces, put them on after your meats or vegetables are cooked, otherwise the sugars in the sauce will burn and you won't taste this great sauce, or the meat itself.

Eveia: Greek Yogurt Cheese

This product is a HIT!

Stop putting cream cheese on your bagel! This Greek yogurt cream cheese is a great alternative, with a terrific flavor, terrific consistency, which makes it perfect to spread, and half the fat of your traditional cream cheese. One ounce is just 30 calories and 3 grams of fat. A couple of things, number 1 is the picture of cheesecake with strawberry is really misleading - I wasn't sure sure what the product was or if it could only be used for baking and cooking - which isn't true - use it as you would use any cream cheese. Number 2, they talk about all the health benefits of yogurt, but how about listing the specific live active cultures? Having said all that, go out and buy this product, it's great!
