Is Mango Habanero really a flavor? On first bite I didn't really think so, but the habanero heat starts kicking in about half way through. I tasted just a slight hint of mango. These chips are not greasy, one bag has 9 grams of fat. They are crispy and sturdy enough to use with a dip, but don't, the flavor is good enough to stand on its own. Adult flavor and very satisfying with only 65 mg of sodium per bag.

Vidalia Onion

This product is a HIT!

If you like sweet, and sweet onions, you are going to love this relish. I love the fact that in the ingredients statement it shows that the package is 68% Vidalia onions. The second ingredient is sugar and although there are peppers and spices mixed in - all that I taste is sweet. The aroma is very aromatic. Each tablespoon is just 10 calories, but does have 2 1/2 grams of sugars. No artificial additives or preservatives. This would make a nice topping over broiled fish or even to add to grilled vegetables. On hot dogs? Not so much.

I guess the wrap trend isn't over yet - these new ones are smaller and just 50 calories with 6 grams of fiber and 8 grams of whole grains, and are coming to a supermarket near you. The taste is hearty, but yet won't interfere with the flavor of any of the fillings. One serving suggestion they have on pack is for peanut butter and jelly, but how about spreading some peanut butter and jelly on a flat wrap, rolling it up and then cutting in half inch wide pinwheels? Fun for the kids and I know you would like it too.

Chickpeas, or garbanzo beans, are the new protein. Affordable, healthy and a great carrier for different flavors, we expect chickpeas to be one of the hot ingredients for 2013. One bag, which is 2 ounces is just over 200 calories, has 8 grams of protein and 14 grams of sugars. These are crunchy, delicious, and one of the best snacks I've had in a long time. Chickpeas are also high in fiber and rich in iron, and these are gluten free.

For me the sign of a great chef is the delicate balance of flavor and mouth-feel in their sauces. Now YOU can be a great chef, and fool your family and friends. These individual packets, which will cost you about a buck fifty each, contains an exquisite sauce. I tried the Lemon Dill, which is great for fish, but there are five other flavors as well. Just microwave on medium for 8-12 seconds. A pure list of ingredients with nothing artificial. One pouch is just 70 calories and less than 1 gram of sugars, but it does have 6 grams of fat. Imported from France where they really do know how to make sauces.
