This flatbread is made from corn starch, chick pea flour, rice flour and potato starch as a base. The taste and the crisp are good, but there is a slight aftertaste. The average flatbread contains just 15 mg of sodium in 2 crispbreads, this one has 144 mg, but the good news is that it has less than 1 gram of sugars, while the average is 8 grams. My recommendation is for this company to find a much better package - in all the packages we opened many of the crispbreads were broken.

This is a really interesting twist for chocolate. Filled with strawberry pieces, real cream cheese, skim milk yogurt, milk fat cream and skim milk, it certainly has an interesting flavor; however  the milk chocolate overpowers the strawberry cheesecake flavor. The texture is excellent, as is the finish on the chocolate. Is it in fact "Nice to Sweet You" as it says on the package? Yes, but it is, but I'd rather it says "Nice to Flavor You" and be a little less sweet. It has about average the amount of calories for the category. Imported from Germany.

Many cheese alternatives are soy based. This one is made from organic palm fruit oil and has a much better flavor and texture. The aroma when you first open up the bag is a little overpowering. Perfect for those who want to avoid dairy and soy. I like the fact that the company has a commitment to sustainability and the environment. The product is slightly higher than average on calories compared to the alternative non dairy cheese category and only 2% of the RDA for calcium versus the average of 15%.

I grew up in an Italian neighborhood in New Jersey, so the idea of eating boxed gnocchi wasn't that exciting. Then I took a taste and this is actually one of the best gnocchi's from a supermarket that I've ever had. What's important is the ratio between the potato filling and the pasta - too often there's too much pasta and not enough potato. These folks got it right. These cook in less than 3 minutes and are imported from Italy. The category average for gnocchi is 196 calories per serving - this has only 170, but it is higher than average in sodium.

Is it the time for Quark? It certainly may be with this recipe. Quark typically is more overpowering and more tangy than yogurt - even Greek yogurt. This recipe, while using erythritol and stevia as a sweetener masks the tang. Just 80 calories as compared to the average yogurt at 187 and zero fat compared to the average of 12 grams. It has 7 times the amount of protein as well. The taste is good and the texture is terrific, but does it taste like a red velvet cake cupcake? Well.....eat it because its good for you!
