If you like Lucky Charms breakfast cereal you are going to be one of the few people who actually appreciate the convenience of this product - just add to your own cereal. But they are not the same shapes as four leaf clovers or the other Lucky Charms. My fear is that kids are going to eat them right out of the bag. My other fear is that parents will buy these for their kids to add to their cereal. With all the concern about sugar consumption do we really need this product?  The first ingredient as you would assume is sugar, but because of the aerated texture they practically melt in your mouth. Yes there's artificial color, yes there's artificial and natural flavor.

There's something about the taste of corn. This new product is steam cooked in the can itself - and there's a lot less water. Besides the whole kernel corn they've added sugar and salt; why? Get this -  in a half a cup of corn there is naturally 2 1/2 grams of sugars, this has 6 grams. The corn itself is nice and crunchy and has a good flavor. I would love to taste it without the sugar - good idea…but take out those added sugars!

Pumpkin Spice Flavor

This product is a HIT!

At first glance I didn't know what to make of this product - adding sugar, orange peel and pumpkin pie spice to cream cheese is almost sacrilegious. But actually it's very tasty. You mix one bag with 12 ounces of cream cheese, which adds another 195 calories and 39 grams of sugars to the cream cheese,  but for a party or a special occasion you'll be the supreme chef. My only word of advice is make sure that you spread the cream cheese on a plain bagel - don't get too fancy and think that this added to a cinnamon raisin bagel would be the ultimate sweet bagel - the flavors would just fight each other.

This product is a HIT!

If you're looking for the benefits of pomegranate without having to drink the juice or without added sugars or water this is for you. This product contains only the fresh arils with nothing else added. Eat them right out of the package with this really cool spoon built into the lid, and this is great to add on top of ice cream or salads. The taste is not as bitter as pure pomegranate and they give a nice crunch - perhaps this is the perfect replacement for M & Ms?
