What it says it does: Farmstand connects you with locally grown food. Farmstand has created easy ways for users to discover and share the best of their local farmers’ market. Find markets in your area, share photos, post deals you’ve found, and help support your local community by telling everyone what’s great at your farmers’ market.

What it actually does: Find farmers’ markets in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and more.  Take photos of the market, food, and vendors and share posts across Facebook and Twitter. You can know what’s good before you go by browsing photos of what friends and other people are finding at the market.  Need to find a market today? No problem, sort farmers’ markets by distance or next open time. The app even filters markets to show those accepting food and nutrition benefits such as SNAP/EBT/WIC. 

How useful is the information for target audience?: The app is very useful for those who want to know more about their local farmers market or find more farmers markets in their area. Traveling and need a market – this app is for you.

Ease of use: The app is very easy to use and it’s fun to browse photos of what’s available at farmers' markets in the area. 

Who would best benefit from the app?: A variety of people would benefit from Farmstand – from farmers market diehards to newbies – Farmstand is a great way to get acquainted with the farmers market before you go.
