Each week we review a food related app. This week it’s Food Feedback – find out what the Lempert Report thought.
What it says it does: Want to eat healthier, lose weight, and share culinary masterpieces? Whether your reasons for use are health, encouragement, cooking advice, or developing culinary skills, Food Feedback™ presents a new path to stay connected and find inspiration from food’s natural beauty while developing a community rooted in support and creativity. Food Feedback™ encourages people to eat better by sharing food photos with free crowd sourced coaches.
What it actually does: Use Food Feedback™ to track the affects of your eating habits to help you hone in on foods that support your goals. By tracking your meals you can develop better eating habits and even more so by sharing your meals with coaches and others in the Food Feedback™ community - who will give you feedback on your food photos. Users can also use Food Feedback™ to view their foods photos and review their meals instead of calorie counting - for example, do you need more vegetables, and less meat? Next meal make it your goal!
How useful is the information for target audience?: The app is great for those who need some community inspiration or just want to track their meals with photos and log other health indicators like weight. Food loving users can also use the app to stay connected with like-minded people, sharing photos of their creations or those of restaurants they've visited.
Ease of use: The interface is simple to navigate and overall the app is very easy to use.
Who would best benefit from the app?: Anyone who wants to eat better or get inspiration from other foodies. Nutrition and health professionals would also benefit from having their clients use the app to assist with meal tracking and ultimately helping to improve results.
