The App Review: PriceSpotting

What it says it does: Join the PriceSpotting community and shop smarter by getting the best price for the products you care about the most. PriceSpotting uses pricing information provided by the user community to help you find the best local real-time pricing. Our powerful database optimizes a shopping trip, based on store pricing, added savings and loyalty discounts, as well as location to allow consumers to shop smarter. 

What it actually does: PriceSpotting helps shoppers keep cash in their pocket while saving time comparing prices store to store. PriceSpotting does the work for you, comparing local prices for the things you buy to make sure you are getting the best price.  PriceSpotting even gives users the opportunity to contribute to the database and rewards users for “spotting” prices in their local stores. Spot more prices and earn gift cards to local stores.  

How useful is the information for target audience?: PriceSpotting is very useful - as it saves users time and money!

Ease of use: The app is easy to use. Enter your location and you can search items that you would like to purchase. Want to “spot” and help add items to the database? Just use your device’s camera to add items in stores near you.

Who would best benefit from the app?: PriceSpotting is great for anyone who likes to save money and time. It’s especially great for those who don’t usually have time or make time to compare prices on products they want to buy. And if users have time to scan products in their stores they will benefit from a gift card!
