The spending power of the active user base on Facebook is huge
Get more out of your business interactions on Facebook.
Order food: Shoppers can now order food from your store directly from your Facebook page if you are set up with Delivery.com or Slice.
Request an appointment: For services at your store - for example, meetings with a dietitian - users can now request a time via your Facebook page and view the entire slate of services and offerings. Appointments can be requested, and you’ll follow up on Messenger to confirm the appointment.
The most recent stats from Pew Research 2105 show that Facebook users are highly engaged with the platform. Seventy percent say they use Facebook daily (including 45% who do so several times a day), and we can only guess this number has increased as the social media site has added more features and grown the user base. Now users and our shoppers have even more reason to visit Facebook; in addition to connecting with friends and family, users can now share places and experiences, recommendations, and connect with local businesses faster and easier.
When users write a Facebook post looking for advice on local places or services, ask your shoppers to turn on Recommendations for that post. If the feature is turned on, friends can comment on the post with suggestions, and they’ll be mapped out and saved in one place, and you’ll attract more business.
The spending power of the active user base on Facebook is huge. Have your social media team enable these features and promote them to your shoppers.
