Macchiato Fiordilatte Espresso

Can too much of a good thing be wonderful? You bet! This espresso drink is made to be a few perfect sips. Use strong coffee with your favorite fine blend if you have no espresso machine. The best combination for this is 1/3 coffee to 2/3 hot cream.

This recipe makes 1 serving.

Macchiato Fiordilatte Espresso Ingredients: 
1 single shot espresso ristretto (restricted or narrow) accomplished by turning off the pump of an espresso machine a few seconds earlier, to provide a little less than the typical one fluid ounce 
1-2 tablespoons frothed double cream (not milk)

Prepare espresso ristretto. 
Add steamed cream, which is made with a very, very light touch of the steamer to avoid altering the texture of the cream. 
Serve immediately, drink slowly. Bellisima!
