Thin & Crispy Pizza is a HIT!
March is Frozen Food Month, so we are celebrating, and rating all frozen foods this week! This pizza is actually on a flatbread crust that is made with 100% organically grown wheat with a three cheese topping of mozzarella, Blythedale Farms from Vermont Asiago and Grana Padano Cheese, which is one of Italy's most popular cheeses which is a semi-fat hard cheese which is aged at least 9 months - the blend of these 3 cheeses is perfect! The extra virgin olive oil is flavorful and drips the way it should off a pizza. Typically I like my pizzas with tomato sauce, but this one is the exception - it is so good. All the cheeses are free of growth hormones. One third of the pizza, about 4.5 ounces, is 370 calories, 15 grams of fat, and 19 grams of sugars. The one downside is it also has 850 mg of sodium. Bake for 6-7 minutes ofr a softer crust - 8 for a crisp one - but don't over bake as the crust will be too crisp and dry. Mange!
