Close your eyes. Picture a Clif Bar – I know you’ve eaten them before. Now open your eyes. Clif Bar wants you to now try the Clif Cereal! It’s the same concept – great taste and great nutrition for, as they say, “lasting energy to power your day”. It is certified organic and non-GMO. It’s the same flavor as one of their most popular bars. I did not expect to like an apple cinnamon & almond butter variety – but I was wrong. It’s delicious! It has 30% less sugar than other leading cereal brands, 240 calories before you add the milk in a ¾ of a cup serving size with 7 grams of fat, just 115 mg of sodium – a whopping 39 grams of carbs with 7 grams of sugars of which 5 are added sugars. It’s a hit with a score of 93. The cereal itself is multigrain from whole wheat, wheat bran, quinoa, sorghum, and buckwheat along with rolled oats. Lots and lots of almonds and a very tasty mix of crispy rice and pumpkin seeds coated in almond butter. The dried apples and cinnamon add the perfect flavor touch. Has limited distribution but is available at Walmart or on clifbar.com. It’s expensive at 6.98 at Walmart $7.90 plus shipping on their own website.
