Carrefour Price Warnings

Carrefour in Paris, one of the world's leading retailers, has decided to go on the offensive as it relates to CPG companies. You know price increases. What they're doing is they're actually putting up signage to put price warnings on products from people like Link Chocolate, Lipton iced Tea, nestle, pepsico, unilever, to really force these consumer package goods companies to reduce inflation ahead of their anticipated contract box. What they're doing is putting stickers on products that have gone through strength inflation but cost more even though the raw material prices have eased, to get the consumers behind them. And these negotiations start with these major companies on October 15th, and what Carrefour is saying is they want their manufacturers to rethink their pricing policy.
