Each week we review a food related app. This week it’s Eat24 – find out what the Lempert Report thought.
What it says it does: Your iPhone can now feed you. No, your phone hasn’t learned to cook but you won’t have to either, thanks to the free, easy-to-use Eat24 app. Order food delivery from over 20,000 restaurants in 950+ cities, with more being added each day. Search from wherever you are, or wherever you’re going to be when you’re ready for some food. The Eat24 app remembers your preferences, which saves you time, and gives you coupons on a regular basis, which saves you money.
What it actually does: Search for specific cuisines, restaurants...even particular dishes. See what the foodies of Yelp think about a restaurant without leaving the app. The Eat24 app lets you save your favorite restaurants and the My Menu feature lets you assemble a list of your favorite past-ordered items from a restaurant for easy re-ordering. You can even scan your credit card directly into the app and securely store your payment information. Write a note about your meal right on your phone and remind yourself to order/not order an item again.
How useful is the information for target audience?: The app is very useful for ordering takeout and finding new restaurants in your area or current location. Would be great for travel or for at home.
Ease of use: The app’s interface is easy to use, enter your location and the restaurants that deliver will pop right up. Best of all, once your order’s in, Eat24 handles every aspect of the delivery experience – if something isn’t quite right call the 24 Hours Live Support within the app to discuss any issue or question you may have.
Who would best benefit from the app?: The app is great for those who are new to an area or love to order takeout. Ordering is a breeze.
