SupermarketGuru is proud to announce the winner of the 2010 Halloween Food Costume Contest. Susan Miller of Susanville, California dressed up as a bag full of groceries. The costume was so fabulous and encompassed everything SupermarketGuru we couldn’t help but chuckle and choose Susan as this year’s big winner.
Susan is currently a Head Clerk at Susanville Supermarket IGA. She has worked in retail for over 32 years and loves it! Susan says that she has never dressed up like food for Halloween (or any other holiday for that matter) before, but had a blast picking out products to use in her costume- especially the rubber chicken on the back, and figuring out how to attach everything. She told SupermarketGuru that she had been planning her costume since last Halloween…which really paid off!
Susanville Supermarket IGA held a Halloween costume contest as well and Susan also won first place at the market! Apparently the customers loved her costume and were taking her picture, looking down the supermarket aisles to find her, and even sending friends in to check her out!
SupermarketGuru wants to thank all of the Halloween Food Costume Contest participants- it was fun seeing all of the entrants!
