The Bushwacker!
The Nation’s Capital of Washington, DC is especially festive right now with the inauguration of President-Elect Barack Obama.
The cocktail du jour in DC these days is the Bushwacker, on offer from Nage restaurant for only $8 – what could be a more appropriate ‘cheers’ to the changing of the guard? DC is jam-packed, abuzz and teeming with anticipation of the historic inauguration that will take place on January 20th, although celebrations have been underway since November and the home of Capitol Hill is vying with New York as the hippest, most happening city in the US.
All over the city, restaurants are joining in the celebration of this historic election with special event and promotions. “This inauguration is Washington, DC’s version of Mardi Gras, “ says Josh Grapski, the owner of Washington, DC’s Nage Restaurant.
The Bushwacker is the perfect way to bid farewell to the Bush administration over the inaugural week!
