Each week we review a food related app. This week it’s Foodee – find out what the Lempert Report thought.

What it says it does: Stop being a slave of calorie counting apps and start to simply enjoy food - healthy or junk, it's completely up to you, after all... life is short and we only live once. Use Foodee to keep track of your meals through photography. It is simple, but yet amazing and beautiful app to track your meals, pick your favorite ones and finally see and realize, what you are actually eating.

What it actually does: Foodee allows you to take photos of your food so you can keep track of what you eat. Each photo is displayed on your timeline with the date, so you can easily browse your timeline and see by day what you have had to eat or drink. Sometimes just looking back at the meals you ate can help you make healthier choices, or for some it’s just fun to keep track of what you eat and what better way to do it than with photos.

How useful is the information for target audience?: If you love food and also love to photograph your food, then you will enjoy Foodee. It would be helpful to have the ability to add notes to each food item or to summarize the day if needed.

Ease of use: The app is very simple, just photograph your food, add it as a new entry, and view your timeline. You can even mark favorites, so you can be reminded of restaurant meals or recipes that you cooked at home.

Who would best benefit from the app?: Whether you want to track your meals for health, or just keep track of the great restaurant meals or home cooked meals you’ve prepared Foodee is a great way to do it and you might even improve your photography skills.
