Shopping Lane Picker is for you – answer a series of questions about the amount of people in line, the person at the checkout and more and voila, Shopping Lane Picker will direct you to the “fastest” line and have you checked out in no time! Shopping Lane Picker even predicts the wait time.

What it actually does?: Shopping Lane Picker is a great app to pass the time while standing in the supermarket wondering which lane will move faster. Choose from a selection of calculated questions and answers to get you checked out and out the door fastest in your local supermarket.

How useful is the information for target audience?: Clearly this app is meant for pure amusement, and it actually might be faster to just pick a line and stick with it. To keep yourself from getting too bored while in line, use the app to see which line will go faster – hey you will probably be there long enough to see if the app is correct. Of course the choices are based on generalizations and stereotypes of the person at the checkout – but after all it’s just an app to make you laugh.

Ease of use: It’s easy to use, but the interface isn’t very exciting. For adults the app is amusing, but for kids, the lack of fun interesting graphics could leave them bored midway through the app.

Who would best benefit from the app?: Anyone who is easily bored when waiting in the checkout line or if you want to get kids to feel a part of picking which line will move faster. It’s great for those who are easily amused and is worth downloading for a quick chuckle.
