U.S. Farmers & Ranchers Alliance Helping Farmers Increase Sustainability

USFRA is calling for an industry-wide approach to coordinated metrics to ease the burden but also drive more measurable results toward increasing the sustainability of our food systems

A new report by U.S. Farmers & Ranchers Alliance (USFRA) shows that farmers, ranchers and food companies need support when it comes to on-farm data that ultimately helps them “manage risk in their supply chains as well as stakeholder pressure for more transparency around food production.”

Collecting the much needed data is costly and time consuming, therefore challenging on the farm and ranch level. But with more support, our food producers can better communicate efforts surrounding climate change and sustainably meeting the needs of a growing population.

USFRA is calling for an industry-wide approach to coordinated metrics to ease the burden but also drive more measurable results toward increasing the sustainability of our food systems. Learn more about the report at www.usfarmersandranchers.org/usfra-metrics-report
