Created by Santa Fe Gourmet Co-Founder Pat Canavan, this recipe is sure to make an impression on your Valentine!

Santa Fe Gourmet’s Original Chipotle Mayonnaise is a sophisticated spread developed by a classically trained, NYC chef. Its smoky, creamy, bold flavors are a result of the roasted chipotle puree, shallots, red bell peppers, garlic and paprika found in the mayo; not usually dessert ingredients, but that’s what makes these brownies so unique and so mysteriously delicious!

This recipe makes 8 – 12 brownies.

1-1/4 cups Santa Fe Gourmet Original Chipotle Mayonnaise
1 egg
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup flour

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Stir Original Chipotle Mayonnaise, egg, sugar and vanilla together until well blended to make wet ingredients.
Separately combine baking powder, cocoa powder, salt and flour to make dry ingredients.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients.
Pour into a 9” x 13” baking dish.
Bake for 30 minutes or to desired consistency.
Let cool completely, cut into squares and serve.
