Organic Red Kraut is a HIT!
I love sauerkraut – and I love this even more. The pieces of cabbage have a great texture and the jar is not filled with brine. The only ingredients are organic cabbage and sea salt – and unlike some others it is not overly salty. The color is from red cabbage – no coloring is added. Love that each label on top shows which farmer grew the cabbage and has a batch number. A two-ounce portion – which is a lot - is 15 calories, no fat with one gram of naturally occurring sugars. It does have 520 mg of sodium, which I wish was lower – but in this case you need the sea salt to release the liquid from the cabbage to start the fermentation.
