Ghee is similar to clarified butter, which is prepared by simmering butter and then removing any residue that separates. Mostly used in Indian cuisines, and has an almost nutty flavor. One teaspoon is 45 calories and 5 grams of fat. While the label touts the Ayurvedic tenants - Ayurveda ghee is made from raw milk, that is then boiled and cooled and then has curd cultures added. This ingredient label only states 100% clarified grade A Organic Cow's Milk Butter; so I'm a bit confused. Please clean up your label so we know what we are buying!
