Lookee here - you can actually see the pieces of truffle and they are throughout - not just sprinkled on top. This is a base recipe of pork, chicken liver, eggs and pork fat along with  sumptuous spices. 2 ounces, or about a quarter of this package, is surprisingly just 180 calories - but it does have 16 grams of fat, 420 mg of sodium and 6 grams of protein. The taste? Amazing, smooth - perfect mouthfeel; however I love truffles and would like that flaor to be a bit more pronounced. I know those purists out there will renounce me, but i actually prefer it without the aspic (the gelatin on top).
