The idea is that this bar can help you stay on your diet by being more satisfying. I really wish they would give us some proven science on how exactly it does that. Rather than just saying "that it is specially formulated for better evening snacking." It does have 8 grams of sugars - so it's not because there is no sugar rush. The dark chocolate presumable has normal amount of caffeine and their propriety ingredient - nightfood mineral blend doesn't seem to have any thing that would help either. How does it taste? A tiny bit of an aftertaste on the chocolate and the filling made mostly from soy protein is a bit too chewy/crispy. Imported from Canada.
