OK lets start with an ingredient you may never have heard of: fructooligosaccharides. Basically it is a low-calorie, non-digestible carbohydrate that can improve food taste and texture and research published at the Institute of Food Technologists found that it also can aid immunity, bone health and the growth and balance of important bacteria in the digestive track. This is gluten, dairy, soy and lactose free. Rich in protein (from peas) with 10 grams in just a two ounce portion. I find the serving size a bit misleading as they list it as just two ounces - Less than half a box. I prepared this with almond milk (those nutritionals are not included, nor is the 2 tablespoons of vegan spread. Ok what does it taste like? The sauce mix's aroma is a bit strong and artificial, even though it's not. The rice flour pasta is best when eaten hot, otherwise it gets a bit filmy. Not for the die hard mac n cheese bunch.
