Here's one more reason to like Canada. This is a clever and tasty idea. 100% pure maple syrup that is made solid and flaked into little spoonable pieces that you can add on top of salads, soups, cereals even fish to add a nice level of sweet with maple flavor. When I first saw it I wasn't sure about the idea - but it is a good one. There is a drawback - it is very, very expensive. 2 teaspoons are just 15 calories, zero fat and sodium with 4 grams of sugars.
