E-commerce retailer FreshDirect announced August as their local month. It's all about supporting local New York brands. I think that this is probably the first time that we've seen any e-commerce platform support local. We know that when people go into supermarkets and they see signs that say "local", it increases sales. It's one of those magic words that are out there and I give kudos to FreshDirect for doing this, not only supporting the backbone of their community, but frankly, it's a great buzzword to get consumers that might not be on FreshDirect to go to FreshDirect.
