FINALLY! AN EXPLANATION TO YOUR CHEESE ADDICTION!
And finally, cheese lovers got some interesting news this week when a new study revealed that cheese is as addictive as drugs! In addition, researchers found Cheese to be especially addictive because of an ingredient called casein, a protein found in all milk products. During digestion, casein releases opiates called casomorphins which attach to opiate receptors in the brain, triggering addiction.
