Cocoa Mocha

This is a quick way to make your favorite cocoa - go the extra mile and use great quality coffee. Use unsweetened cocoa; if you only have the sweetened type, reduce or eliminate the sugar.

The following ingredients are for making this recipe in a microwave. If you want to make it on the stovetop, follow the directions on the cocoa package for making 4 cups and mix that with the coffee, add the whipping cream and enjoy!

This recipe makes 4 small servings

Cocoa Mocha Ingredients:
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons powdered unsweetened cocoa
2 tablespoons water
1 cup whipping cream
1 1/2 cup brewed coffee

Directions:
Brew the coffee and set aside. Whip the cream and set aside.
Make the cocoa according to the package directions or use the above ingredients by mixing the sugar and cocoa in a microwave safe measuring cup (two cup size).
Add the water and stir until well blended.
Heat on high for only 30-45 seconds until the mixture boils.
Remove the cup from the microwave and add the whipping cream, stirring until well blended.
Return the cup to the microwave for 1 to 1 ½ minutes on high.
Combine the brewed coffee and cocoa mixture together and serve immediately.
