The secret ingredient to the flavor in this recipe happens to be America’s favorite morning beverage ... coffee! The steps are easy and there are just a few ingredients, but the results will leave your taste buds buzzing for more!

Coffee Rubbed Kurobuta Pork Chop Ingredients: 
1 lemon (zested) 
1 lime (zested) 
1 orange (zested) 
1 Tbsp Kona coffee (ground) 
2 tsp fresh thyme (chopped) 
2 double-cut Kurobuta pork chops (have your butcher prepare these) 
2 Tbsp olive oil 
Salt and pepper

Instructions: 
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees F. 
Place the lemon, lime and orange zest on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and put in the oven. 
Allow zest to dry out until all the moisture is evaporated. 
Put zest in a bowl and mix in ground coffee and thyme. 
Rub pork chops with coffee zest mixture and salt and pepper. 
Heat an oven-proof pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil. 
Sear pork chops on both side. 
Finish in the oven (at about 350 degrees) for 9 - 10 minutes or until medium well.
