Hot White Chocolate Coffee

Hot chocolate with a rich & satisfying twist

This is a definitely rich and satisfying twist to soothing hot chocolate. If you have a microwave, this dish is a quick one to make. However, even the extra time melting the chocolate with the milk in the top pan of a double boiler is time very, very well spent.
This is best prepared immediately before you want to consume it so that the white chocolate does not separate or harden.

Hot White Chocolate Coffee Ingredients:
3 ounces white chocolate, chopped
2 cups half-and-half (whole milk is fine; forget low fat just this once!)
2 cups Original Blend coffee,
brewed fresh and hot
Garnish: whipped cream and chocolate curls, optional

Brew the coffee.
Add the white chocolate and half-and-half to a microwaveable bowl and heat on high for one minute.
Stir, then heat for one more minute.
Mixture should be thoroughly melted and smooth; if not repeat for 30 more seconds or longer as necessary.
Remove bowl from the microwave oven and stir in the hot, brewed coffee.
Using a ladle, scoop out the ambrosia and pour into six large cups or mugs. Garnish, as desired with whipped cream and chocolate curls.
Serve immediately!

This recipe makes 6 servings and easily doubles
